Great news. Solar seems to take a big leap. However the manual content is a bit Linux/*nix-oriented. Many developer choose to develop applications on Windows and deploy their products on Linux.

Also, your blog and other contributor blogs should be present on SolarPHP.com

Congratulations Paul ! I have been waiting long for this release. The new look of the site is great, but the greatest news is the documentation, which was the weaker side of SOLAR… until now. Of course, the docs have to be improved, but this is pretty good for a start. I am looking forward for a little wider implementation of the Active Record Pattern, something comparable with EzPDO or Propel (that can offer abstraction over the different table relationships and so on). Will that happen any time soon ?
