   The I.R.S. should have been outlawed and abolished years ago. It’s only a government sanctioned form of extorsion. The government is incapable of managing the tax dollars they get from the citizen. They have taxed business
   out of the U.S. thereby losing jobs for thousands of citizens and now thirteen trillion dollars in the hole they want to dig deeper in the taxpayers pocket to make ends meet.
   GET RID OF AN ABSOLUTELY USELESS GOVERNMENT CRIME EMPIRE!!!!!!!!

   Dear Sir:

   I am ALL IN FAVOR of the FAIR tax. I think it is a fantastic idea. I ABSOLUTELY HATE DEALING WITH THE IRS. I have had three years of my taxes audited and I am still fighting them through Tax Masters.

   I would suggest that food and medical expenses be exempted.

   To those who say that the poor would be paying an unfair proportion of the tax, I would like to point out that the rich buy the higher ticket items such as expensive cars, boats, planed etc. So, they would end up paying more in taxes than the poor.

   ALSO, it is a VERY GOOD idea that EVERYONE in the country pay taxes to the Federal Government. That way, every one has a stake in the Federal Government and will be concerned when their money is wasted.

   ALSO, just think how much money that will raise in what today in the Black Market in this country!

   I haven’t looked at the figures, but I think 23% might be a little high. A few years ago, I heard the figure of 17%.

   You will probably need to consider revoking the 19th Amendment to the Constitution though to get rid of the IRS.

   The Flat Tax is fair for all. The tax situation now is too complicated even for those that deal with the taxes. Thhe Flat Tax is the only way too go.

    A good and liberating idea. I am sick of IRS taking away so much of my pension from mt 401K in taxes avery 4/16. Best of luck. I support it.

    As a citizen of the United States, I feel the fair tax is the best solution to our currant problems to help get this country back on track. The government needs to realize they are elected officials and paid by us. The taxation and misrepresentation is the reason for the first TEA PARTY !!! Wake up America, let’s get on board and get the fair tax instituted, and any elected official that votes against it need to realize this is their last term in office. Let’s get our voices heard !!!!!

    The time more than ever is now for the Fair tax. The hard working people of this country are paying for the people of those who choose not to work, are here illegally, who have chosen tobecome drug addicts and therefore get “disability” benefits. Enough is enough. There has yet to be 1 single valid point that knocks down the Fair tax. Whenever the Fair tax is challenged, the challenger changes what the Fair tax will do. The Fair tax has been proven in comparison studies to fund the government equally, if not higher than our current horrible taxation method. We need to hold the politicians responsible and ensure that they stop padding their own bank accounts from the lobbyists and have them do their jobs by representing the people who are the bosses. Increase the momentum from the Tea Parties and start demanding from your representitive what they were put in office to do. If they will not vote for the Fair tax, don’t vote for them. Don’t stop demanding results. They are paid with your time away from your family, your hours at work, your free time, your hard earned money. We have enough free loaders in our society. We don’t need to pay one to represent us!!
